I think the important issue here is that you have an adequate supply of TP. The makeup or qualities of what ever brand you chose to use could be argued endlessly.

Some folks don't put tp in the toilet due to sensors and clogs. They use a garbage can that gets emptied every day.

Cheers!

Interesting that the RV paper wasn't the one that broke down the most? It is the brand I use from Walmart, guess it is time to switch.

That's what I thought until I re-read the post.

I'm going to say for 85% of those using R/V's, it does not matter what toilet paper you use or what chemicals you dump in. (other than odor control)

What many folks seem to forget... your black holding tank is just that... it is a HOLDING tank. It is NOT a septic tank.

The majority of the folks who camp, start out with an empty tank, use it a few days or a week and then empty when leaving. There is no sloshing and no time for chemicals to break down waste. For this scenario, the only rule to remember is use LOTS and LOTS of water.

For those who park at a seasonal site or travel full time and choose not to empty and flush their tanks before leaving one campground to go to another, the result is slightly different as the system then has an opportunity to start to begin to break up the waste (through sloshing and travel) but even then, most will dump and flush before the same digestive effects of what happens in a septic tank begins to take place.

For those who have a toilet in your rig and don't use it... that is your choice.
We use ours because it is... well... ours!
