I've been camping [TTs & MHs] since the early 70s and have never had a problem with any tp. Maybe I was lucky, but I still use whatever is at hand [no pun intended]. I use chemicals with each tank, so I guess it has been working.

We were using "RV" teepee which we both hate!!
We once ran out and my wife brought onboard paper from home.
OMG! 2 days into the trip I couldn't get the tanks to drain completely!
Flush... Back flush .... Chemicals...Flush again.....
Finally after working at it all day, I was able to clear the tanks!
Now we use Scott "rapid dissolving" paper.
Works great, (as Teepee), and NO clogs!!
Breaks down quickly!!
We purchase it at Walmart!!
It's also available on Amazon.

I used to live in Turkey,,,,,,count your blessings we have TP,,,,,,the holes in the floor had faucets on the rear left to "hand bidet" your butt. If you touched food with your left hand in eastern Turkey, that was an absolute No-no,,,,,because your left hand was used for other things than eating.

It may depend how your unit is plumbed,,, some units will handle 2 ply,,,
but I believe there are some that will only handle 1 ply !!!
Our old Flagstaff would plug up when we used 2 ply !!!

The RV tp is too much like sandpaper for us. After our research we bought a case of POM at Sam's Club. One of our better purchases. Anyone want the rest of our single ply sandpaper?

Use any kind of paper want.... but do this
We keep a little trash can with a lid - toe activated if desired- next to the toilet. Of course we line it with a plastic grocery bag or similar. We put all our "amber" papers in there. If we have "brown" papers, we keep a box of cheap (very cheap at the Dollar Tree) dog poo OR baby diaper disposal plastic bags right there too, and we put the brown papers in one of these, tie it off, and put it in the can with the lid. We empty the can at least daily (there are just two of us). No paper of any kind ever down the toilet. When you get in the habit of doing this it's no trouble at all. No worries. Oh, and wash your hands. You're welcome.

Oh, here's one more tip. If you have used coffee filters to dispose of, throw those in the bathroom trash can and any possible odors-- GONE!

I don't understand why you wouldn't throw the TP into the toilet. I've been doing it for 12 years, and I have no problems as long as you remember not to by stingy with the water. But to each his/her own. Bottom line......lots of water is a black tank's best friend.

The site team did a little 'clean up' ourselves in this thread.
We removed some posts that were considered "trolling" as well as some replies to these posts. We also went ahead and took care of business, and removed some that although joking, were leading the thread down the off-topic road just a little too much. They would be best suited for their own thread.
