In my opinion, TP is TP. We use the same TP that we use at home with no problems. The black tank is a storage tank, not a septic tank. Most rv's come with a black tank flush anyway. Just saying.......

We have always used a single ply that was recommended years ago when we bought our first new camper. No issues in all our 40 plus years of camping.

We have used good old chairmen to for years with no issues just be pro active when cleaning your tank use lots of water when you flush and as I was told dump your tank when it's full not a partial tank and I always rinse from the stool down with a hose

I don't think it is so much what type of TP you use,,, but maybe how much you use,,, and how is your unit plumbed !!! Some seam to work fine with the 2 ply stuff,,, some not so well !!! Each to his own,,,
But I am NOT ready to go the trash can route !!!

Having Traveled a bit internationally for work, The whole idea of throwing used TP in a can and not down the toilet brings back certain things that I wish I had never smelled all festering in one small area. One particular spot had a gentlemen who literally ran you down to empty said trash can.....no gloves.

You all have missed my point. There is no dump taking in my system. Therefore no nasty, smelly, skid marked paper in the can. My tank is yellow, not black. You need to pinch a loaf, head to the bath house.

Your ridicule and flaming can now continue.

Hmm? That goes against conventional wisdom, all lines of thinking, testing, and decades of black tank history. What is your statement based on?

X2. Don't care to sit on public toilets even if I line them with disposable seat covers or tp. There are some pretty nasty people in this world and I don't care to clean up their mess before I sit!!! That's just another good reason we bought an RV!
