Torando tank rinser

Has any ever installed the Tornado Tank Rinser in their black tank? If so is it worth it? I am tired of dragging a hose into the camper and washing the tank out.

I added one (can't remember the exact one) in my old tt and it worked great! Much better then dragging a hose thru the trailer. It was simple on my trailer as it had exposed tanks.

Just installed one a couple days ago. Will be trying it out this weekend. A good friend of mine really likes his!

I put one in the gray tank as well. Getting grease off the tank walls is harder to do than get black stuff off the walls of the other tank.

That's why I've been using water softener in the grey tank. Helps Keep grease and stuff from sticking to the walls. The tank flush would be a great addition too. I think I may install one in my grey tank.

Would love to install one BUT my tanks are only 1/2 exposed (lower half) and the ends are between the frame members.. Guess that I will have to suffer on with the hose / wand cleaning method..

I'm scheduled to have one installed come May 5 when the fiver goes in for some other service. For the money, I've decided to let someone else deal with the yuck!

Worth the money and mod. I will also have on installed in the gray tank at the end of this camping season. Our trailer came with one in the black tank.

We purchased this Valtera Hydroflus instead.
Valterra F02-4110 90° RV Hydroflush : Amazon.com : Automotive

First we added a ton of bleach and water and then soap and water and then soap and water softener (all down the toilet) since we bought this used and didn't know how well the tank was cleaned. After we did all that and the water ran clear, we dumped in a bunch of ice and baking soda and drove around for a while in case there was anything stuck in the tank.

The first thing I did when I brought my camper home was to install a Quickie flush on both tanks. Very easy to do and they work great!

What are the rinse hook ups that come w the new 5er's?.

The under sides are totally covered and I don't relish pulling them.

My fiver has 2 black tanks- one came with a flush and the other didn't.

I don't know brand or anything, but most newer fivers are coming with some kind of flush.

People say taking down the undercoating isn't as bad as it seems - as long as it's not windy!
