Cowracer. When Walmart takes an item back it is returned to the manufacturer. The supply company then has to eat the cost of an item that was returned past the warranty date. They then increase the cost of the item to offset their expense. Because you do not feel guilty does not make it right it is dishonest and cheating the system. I do not know where you work but if it is for a manufacturing company how long will it stay in business it everyone used the return policy like you have done? It was wrong and you know it was wrong it shows your lack of character.

hey... Again, I didn't make the rules (or policy). If I use their own policy, as they chose to write it, to come out whole then I don't see what possible reason I should have for giving a good damn about it.

If they don't like it, then they can either A) change their return policy to something more strict, or B) stop demanding that their suppliers make products so cheaply that they fold up like a lawn chair with the first puff of breeze.

As far as "costing everyone a little more", I buy quite a bit of stuff at Wal-Mart, and one of the reasons is that they did decide to have a stellar return policy. I might make use of that policy once a year, so all the other stuff I buy generates profit for Wal-Mart, and (according to your logic) will reduce the cost of everything else a little bit for everyone.
