Tote Tank Brand?

Barker or Thetford LX (around 35 gallon)? Looking online the Barker looks like it's built better and Thetford looks more convenient. The Barker has a metal handle, Thetford plastic. Anyone have any comments?

I have the Barker 32 gallon #27844 which I am partial to because it does seem to be very durable and built well. I have a friend who has the Thetford and he likes the features on it better as far as filling and dumping it.

I bought mine off Amazon and even though the picture on there still shows the plastic wheels, it did come with the metal wheels, inflatable tires, etc... as Barker shows it on their website.

Another one of those items where people just have personal preferences and you probably will get 50/50 responses.

Have a Barker 25 gallon with pneumatic tires, Really like like this feature as opposed to the plastic wheels. Also has grease fittings on each wheel; another plus. has four wheels.
Before this had a two wheel 32 gallon. With water @ 8.33# per gallon, very heavy to pick up & roll. 4 wheel Barker much easier to move.

Got it at rvpartscountry.com best price I found

The pneumatic tires make it much easier to move and tow when loaded. I only use ours for the grey tank.

Thetford, how it works and not to bad to pull to dump station. 27 gallon. Only place I use it is Goshen.

Anything new on this question? I used my old two wheel tote with a home made towing handle last week to tote 25 gallons of grey water every day and got real tired of it. Now I am thinking of a 4 wheeler and looking at the new version Thetford 35 gallon or the older and very different but still improved Barker 32 gallon. Thetford has some slick features but the Barker has pneumatic tires and a simple and easy to replace side valve. Maybe we should just take waterless showers for our next week-long campout in July...
Cheers!

I own a Barker 30844 42 gal. They come with pneumatic wheels and a hose to dump. The bobber gauge does not connect to top of tank (threads on cap are not deep enough with rubber washer) but no biggie. Great customer service at Barker. I am going on 2 years with golf cart towing 2 miles each week on gravel roads. No problems. Highly recommend!
Bought mine here. Robot Check

I have the 25 gal Barker, why did I buy it because that is the brand they sold at the dealership I bought the trailer!!! As said above it is a preferencething and you will get a 50/50 split, sort of like the Fod/GMC/Dodge thing. Just make sure you get a filling bobber, life saver for not overfilling, I learned the hardway.
