Hello, Bev. If you'll do a Search for TPMS, you'll find pages of thread titles on the subject. I use the TST 507 system with flow-through sensors and am totally pleased.

Yep, I got a TST 507 about a month ago, screw the sensors on, Connect the repeater, to the battery on a travel trailer is recommended, and plug the monitor into your tow vehicle, assuming you don't have a motorhome.
TST will program the sensors for you if you call them.

Hi Mr. Dan;
Thanks so much. I did read somewhere on this forum, I think, that if you use flow-through sensors that you shouldn't use them with rubber stem valves. Do you know?
And, is there any disadvantage that you know of not using the flow-through?
Thanks, Bev

any time you have to air-up you have to remove the sensors if they are not flow-thru...
Rubber valve stems are not recommended, but I used them with flow-thru for two years before upgrading tires and going to metal valve stems...

Hi,
Virtually everyone reports excellent customer service and post sale support from TST.
I highly recommend them based on my own experience.
FWIW.

My trailer came with metal valve stems so I can't comment in running flow-throughs on rubber stems. Apparently, some run with rubber stems without issue.

I'm loving my TST 507. They are great people to deal with. Since I was a FRF member Mike Benson set up my 507 before they shipped it. Very easy install.

Solar Powered Tireminder TPMS - Anybody?
Hey, I came across a moderately priced Solar Powered Tireminder TPMS that is intended for rigs that are less than 25 feet in length. Has anyone had any experiences with one of these? It looks easy peasy to set up; am thinking about getting one. The few reviews I've read are a bit mixed, but mostly really good.
Thanks again....Bev
