Another choice is sojourn:

so·journ (sjūrn, s-jūrn)
intr.v. so·journed, so·journ·ing, so·journs To reside temporarily. See Synonyms at stay1.

n.A temporary stay; a brief period of residence.

The name we've selected is Tara. I've been a Gone With The Wind fan since my mother first took me to see it when I was in 3rd grade (I think the ticket cost 50 cents). I tried talking my DH into naming his boat Miss Scarlett, but he's not budging. We actually haven't bought a camper yet, but we've named it already --- how crazy is that! We've narrowed it down to two: 1) Coachmen Apex 300BHS and 2) Flagstaff Super Lite 29BHKD. We're working on the pros/cons (every night). Wish us luck!

I had a boat, then a glider, and now a TT. So, to throw money into and have it magically vanish, I traded a hole in the water, for a hole in the air, and now for a hole in the ground... I believe mine will be called... "Black Hole"... or... "The Money Pit". Haven't decided yet... Maybe... the "Budget Crush"...

Funny, we call the canoe Bob - and the kayaks Bob 1 and Bob 2.
It's what you do on a windy day. You bob-bob-bob along.

I want to call ours 'Routemaster' because of all the miles I clocked up driving in the London buses of the same name. DW doesn't approve, but in my mind it's still 'Routemaster'

Ours is called "sweet red" after the wine. It was our communion wine at our wedding.

New owner of an 09 rockwood pup

Well I was reading this forum to get some ideas and came across this posting of the "Tajwehaul" and I have to say thanks for the great laugh. However, not so much for the coffee that squirted out of my nose and across the room. lol

Well I have an interesting TT and wonder what name I am going to give it.
I am a Medic, disaster service team member where we can get depolyed anywhere for disasters. I am also a concealed handgun instructor as well as a amateur radio operator.
With all that in mind here is what the tt includes:
24 inch flatscreen, desktop pc, onboard wifi and gps antenna as well as outdoor mounted hdtv antenna.
30 amp power supply for 1 VHF radio, 1 UHF radio, 1 800Mhz radio, 1 scanner, 1 cb with linear and 1 dual band vhf/uhf amateur radio.
It now only sleeps 2..go figure.
I have a 5 foot by 8 foot 1/32 piece of sheet metal installed on the roof and all the radio antennas are mag mounts.
So I was thinking McGyver or LifeSavers.
Everytime I tell folks whats in it they just shake there head so I was also thinking of " Shake your head" or "Just flow with it"
Any ideas would be good.

Meh, he changed the name of his tow vehicle.

His big black chromed out F250 is now.....

drum roll please....

BIFF!

It's one of those things that's just so wrong it's right. No idea how he came up with that...it just happened one day as we were driving. That's just how his mind works.

And the TT is now Francis.

Biff and Francis....yep, all hoity toity...perfect!

My son in law broke it down as "Tralier On Wheels Dispensing Infinite Sewage"

We call our TT "Bug-Out," because we are always ready to go.
