3 weeks with only my wife might be the best lottery ticket she ever bought.

We have a 5th wheel as does one daughters family. Or other daughter has a large convential trailer. We camp together at least once a year. Each pulls their own trailer, wouldn’t have it any other way.

Separate for sure! Think about privacy! Sharing the stinky bathroom, what if you’re gassy? What if you need to get dressed or just want to chill on your sofa and you have “guest” around? What about all the food for both families. The fridge is small.
I’m getting anxiety just thinking typing this!

If you take two trailers it will only rain for 2 days. If you only take one trailer it will rain for 2 weeks.

You're right! It's one of Murphy's (many) Laws.

x2............too much of a good thing, like togetherness, can cause people who otherwise would get along fine to get on each other's nerves.

Keep the friends, take two campers

Pipeman, I second that. We have 10 grandkids and they have all stay with us at one time. I do take 2 tents if the kids want to go with us also..

Jestercyco, when my three kids were young and we camped in a pop up trailer, they got their own apartments(tents). We dry camped in the bush not a campground so they got used to having the giraffes and elephants around. Now our grandkids get to camp in comfort. Their parents all have their own trailers but for some odd reason they have to have sleep overs with the old people or we take them with us on some trips. It's just terrible how they have us wrapped.....
