Smile travel safety

Hopefully , We ( my wife ,dog and myself ) will be going to florida next winter. Leaving shortly after the christmas holiday. Returning mid march to Michigan. My question is are there any certain places we should avoid on our travels down I 75 ?? And on the flip side ,what should we make sure that we see along the way ?? Thanks in advance for your response

Atlanta, especially at rush hour! I still vividly remember that experience, even though it was ten or so years ago.

I second the Hot-lanta traffic. Too bad you are not going down in the Spring to the fall, as you could stop by Stone Mountain, SP in GA and catch the incredible laser light show and fireworks display they put on against the big rock. It is really cool.

Take the perimeter (I-285) around Atlanta to avoid going through downtown. Once past there its pretty smooth sailing.
