Traveling in winter

We newbies will be pulling our Mini-Lite to Arizona in January from Kentucky. We'd like to avoid winterizing as we'll be staying in the trailer while enroute. We have heated tanks, but I fear for the water pump, lines, etc., while driving during any sub freezing temps. Should we play it safe and winterize? If so, how can we use the water system on our overnights? Or, is there a way to keep the water system warm while driving?

I would definitely winterize. You will most surely have freezing temps between now and Jan right?

Thanks Jan; therin lies our challenge. We'll camping in the Mini until Christmas when we'll head west. My concern is how to keep the pump/lines from freezing while we're driving through freezing temps.
