I know you are heading to southern Arizona but I have to tell you that one of the most RV friendly places around is Laughlin, Nv. Plenty to do and eat, no reservations needed at the AVI KOA, plenty of dry camping as well. Day trips to Vegas, Grand Canyon, Quartzsite etc. Just saying!
Look up Cal-Am Parks in the Phoenix area. I believe there's about 7.
Also in Yuma & some in California. Your thread shows a 33 foot
trailer. That may give you trouble or you'll have to move around.
The first park that refuses you, ask if you can book a week not
a month. Our park - Val Vista Village will show as full already but
there's always the less popular spots. Just call and ask.
Travelling to Arizona for the month of January, we want to know if we need to book a place before we get there or will we be able to find a spot once we get there.
This will be our first time. Also we are only 52 & 51 years old, having a hard time finding a place that doesn't have an age restriction. What are your thoughts & suggestions.
Voyager RV Resort almost always has a few RV spots available. It is expensive but worth every penny. You can Google Voyager RV Resort to find their website where you can make a reservation.

We were just looking at that KOA. What spots are good?? We would have 2 Hybrids with us. Is it close to the casinos? Is there any hikes near there? Can you have fires at night?
thanks for letting us know.
Cal-Am always say their parks are full this time of year, but drive around and find out for yourself. I believe they like annual or seasonal residents only.
Just drove around the Riverside RV Park, plenty of empty spots also plenty of free boondocking spaces throughout all Casino parking lots including those with a view up on the cliff.
