Trouble with LED lights and tank level sensors

Does anyone know how to remove the cover off these lights. I am having trouble with one and dont want to break the cover removing it. Also, after I empty my gray tank, it still has two lights lit. Is there any way to check the sensors?

It looks like mine so assuming it is.....

To open grab the cover and turn counter clockwise. It is not a screw on cover, it only turns a 1/4 inch or so. Hope this helps.

Yep, turn counterclockwise. Tank lights are notoriously not accurate.

The sensor has some crud stuck to it. The next time you dump the tank it may come off the sensor or may not.
Sometimes my sensors register properly and other times way off the mark.

GEO Method

Try the GEO method on your tanks. Every time I move the trailer I use it on both tanks. Original sensors still reading correctly.

And they are a bear to turn. My arthritic hands can barely turn them.

Angry Tank sensors

Tank sensors are the most useless items on. an rv.....there are sensors that work but not the ones that come on RV's from the factory. The factory's will not spend the extra money to deliver a quality product....just cheap cheap junk

My Sensors work just fine. I think that sometimes sensors may not work well because of user error

Not much room for user error when the sensors installed by the factory is nothing more than bolts stuck through the tank wall. Horst Miracle Probes are a wire type probe with a shield that prevents tp and solids from making contact. SeeLeveL II RV Tank Monitor are non-immersive sensors that attach to the outside of the tank and are said to be very reliable.

Decon Blue and Ilgander,

How do teens and 20 somethings know what clockwise and God forbid counterclockwise means?

With all the digital clocks around, then in the UK the colleges are removing all analogue clocks in exam rooms as the students are stressing on timed tests as they cannot figure time remaining?

Sorry just an observation.
