True enough!! Payload in truck door 1267, add bedliner, tonneau cover, side steps, fuel, 4 "good sized"people, probably maxed the payload.
Here's a fun thing to do after dinner with a truck full of buffet fed people, go to the truck scales and find out! Lolol

I also think the same can be said for the 3/4 ton trucks and the 1 ton trucks too. These people with bigger trucks buy bigger campers. It's all relative.

I am in the same situation as Rugged,and also agree that even though I am maxing the truck on paper,it seems to be handling it quite well.
