I have the Weathertech in channel on my 2009 2500hd. Had to use an inch of 3m double stick tape to hold the drivers shade in place. The shade would come down 1/4" or so in the backside corner when rolling the window down.

Other than that I like em, and the small inch of 3m tape did the trick.. Also have a set on fdw's 2014 Malibu.

i have the stick on one on my 1998 chevy and have had them for over ten years now had to replace the tape once on the drivers side

i have the in channel on my 2013 silverado and on my 2008 buick wife has them on her honda
they also come with tape to help hold them in i do have one rear window om the buick that needs new tape as sometime when the window goes down it pulls the shade with it
but they are a cheaper set and that is the only problem i have ever had in several years on several vehicles

If your dog likes to put her head out the window when you drive, make sure you open the window fast enough. Our rescue dog was faster than the window and broke the drivers rear, in channel vent guard into three pieces.
Well of course I threw it away before I found out I needed a picture of it so Weathertech could replace it... For FREE. And no, they wouldn't sell me just that one.

I have in channel on our 2010 Silverado, 2015 Impala, also had them on our 2011 Sonata, and 1997Gran Marquis.

They both work just fine, the difference to me is that the channel visors look factory and the stick on's look aftermarket.

I have them on my F-150, got them from O'Reilly Auto Parts. I have a minor but annoying issue with them that if i leave the window down for a while, then when I close it, it gets to the top and goes back down. I have to open the door, reach around and
pull the vent out while closing the window to get it to go up and stay up. That said I may have cause the problem when I installed them, re positioning them too much. It's not a problem for short periods of time, at the ATM or similar situations.

Similar results with in channel visors on my 2013 F-150. No issues on drivers window but occasionally have to raise the passenger door window slowly for the last couple inches to prevent the auto feature from reversing
