TT Disposal

We have an old Tag-a-long TT sitting in the yard. We need to get rid of it. Fairly rough shape. Where would someone dispose of something like this? I have no idea....

Check with your local auto recyclers (scrap yard in the old days)

You would be amazed at what folks will take off of Craigslist. I got the wild idea that I wanted to build a TT and checked out Craigslist for parts- I was able to find chassis, throw aways, all that jazz.

Never pursued the project- but you should be able to put it up and someone will come take it away.

My first thought was a scrap yard, but didn't know if they'd take it since just the siding and frame are metal. Craigslist is an idea. It'll either need a rollback or tires to move. The valve stems are cracked.

List it on Craigslist in the RV + Camp section and put FREE in the post and it will be gone in no time.

+1 For Craigslist, in my area, I also see ads for people looking for free travel trailers or 5th wheels to move regardless of condition. Like Oakman said, it will be gone in now time, I bet you'd be surprised.

You would be surprised the number of people that would take it & scrap it for the siding & window frames ($$$ aluminum scrap is down but $$$) then turn the iron frame into a utility trailer..... I recently saw a 5th wheel that was turned into a car / equipment trailer. Nice welding job usually they are not.

Trailer racing? Maybe I'll hookup and run around the Washington beltway
It'll be dust before I get home.
