We just purchased a windjammer 3008 and are on our maiden trip. For sone reason we can not get a picture on the tv from the dvd. We can hear it playing, but nothing cones on the tv
I have tried changing all the inputs and nothing works. It's a Toshiba tv and an idvd system

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. First make sure you are selecting the correct source on your TV mine is in HDMI 3. Check the connections on the back of the TV and on the IDVD player to ensure they are plugged in and correct.

If you don't have HDMI be sure the yellow cable is plugged into the yellow on the tv and the back of the radio. Then select the correct input on the tv setup.

The camper is brand new. I didn't want to void a warranty by trying to take it out of the wall. I checked all the cables to the back of the tv and they are good. But I didn't take the unit out of the wall. To get thru the weekend I went and bought a separate DVD player and plugged it into the back of the tv

The DVD wires to TV in were plugged into the DVD in instead of the out on the back of the DVD player on our new Wildcat. Not sure what DVD player you have but wires plugged in wrong is pretty common. I have a Jensen DVD radio, easy to remove after pull the bezel off. Lots of how to’s with google search. I fixed it myself because I was 80 miles from the dealer. Hope it works out for you.

The sound cable SHOULD be plugged into Audio IN on back of the player (and AUDIO out on the TV). This is to play television sound through the trailer sound system.
In any case buying a separate dvd/Blu Ray player is an excellent idea. That gives you a better quality dvd player and the only way to play Blu Ray.

I also had also had a bad video cable. I don't think simply pulling the player out of the wall to check connections / replace cables would void a warranty.
