ughh....trip starting off not good

Just venting here...we are headed to Fla and we taking a friend down there and dropping her off at her moms...she was extremely late...but to top it off my dear wife lost ALL of our ROOs keys!!!!

They were still all bundled with a zip tie and she lost them....every last one of them.....

When you make it to Florida and need something by all means Bob - give me a call

Good Luck and hope the rest of the trip goes smooth for ya

Thanks...good thing the trailer is not locked. I hope I can either get Tropicall or FR to sell me a replacement set with the VIN#.

That's one of my fears! I bet the keys will turn up about the time you get the replacement keys but till then it's a PITA for sure!

At least you have a story to tell about the first trip.

Wow,

Sounds like the start of a post for worst camping trip. Sorry to hear about your troubles. That being said it can only get better from here..

We always keep a set of keys for the trailer and generator in the console of the truck and the DW has a set in her purse.

Hopefully you get it sorted out soon.

I keep a door key on my truck key ring and then we each have a set that has the door key, storage key and some padlock keys we use.

Matt,
I hope Bob knows how lucky he is to have someone to help him out!

If I ever make a trip to FL, Beers are on me!

John

Hey John,
Thanks - if ya do come to florida and camp somewhere let me know in advanced before you come so if I am able to camp in the same place I can make reservations

I can say this - RV'ers are way diffrent then boaters by far - especially I have noticed alot of people are willing to help others which makes all the world of diffrence in traveling in places that are unfamiliar or just needing assistance.

My parents have been RV'ing for a very long time (since I was a kid) and still RV but since they are retired and camp mainly during the week it is hard for me to take off and camp with them

From my experiences, RV'ers are some of the nicest people anywhere. No matter when, No matter where, No matter why...someone needs help, an RV'er is there. No "Thank You" needed.

Glad to be an "RV'er".

John

PS. FL is in our future...might be a few years, but it is...

Bob, didn't the dealer give you two sets of keys? ours did and we always take both sets, one with me and the other with the DW, just in case something like this happens.

He did get two sets of keys and took both sets with them as well - the issue is he never seperated them from delivery since they were all zip tied together and thats how they got lost
