Unidentifiable Valve

This valve is located behind our steps near the back of our 2012 V Cross 32 VRLS travel trailer. Any idea what it is for?

I would bet that it lowers your spare tire.

It could lower the spare tire.
It could also be the manual crank point for a slide on the opposite side.
