Using X-Chock and Anderson Levels

I am new to camping so I may be asking a stupid question. But if I use Anderson Levels to level the trailer do I need to put BAL X-Chocks on both sides or just one? Thank you for your response.

If you use Anderson Levelers, you need to chock the other side, too. X-Chocks aren't for chocking your tires; they are for stabilizing your trailer. Level, chock, unhitch, and then put in your X-Chocks.

Thanks for your reply but I guess my real question is there really any need for the stabilization on the leveler side? Or will the Anderson levelers stabilize it enough?

The levelers work to get the trailer level, but don't really provide the stability that the X-chocks provide to help stop some of the trailer motion. Put them on both sides. I use both.

Please do remember to still chock your tires, my friend didn't had his 4 corner stabilizers down and his two X-Chocks in and overnight when the temperature dropped and with the rain the grip on the tires that the X-Chocks had gave out enough to have his trailer slip a few inches overnight. Ended up bending one of his corner stabilizers. Could have been a lot worse if it moved a couple more. Always, always chock your tires shouldn't matter what type of stabilizer system you are using. I agree with the last comment. I have found a lot of camper that think the X-chocks replace the wheel chocks. I have to explain to them that the x-chocks are to help stabilize and the wheel chocks are to keep their camper in position. I had to explain this to one of my older brother this past week when we went camping together but I don't think that he believed me because he was only using his x-chocks with no wheel chocks. Oh, Well,
