Vacuums
Hi all. Just wondering which vacuum cleaner if any everyone uses? I personally use the handheld dyson and the question popped into my head as I was cleaning tonight!

We also use the hand held Dyson. Works great with strong, consistent suction and stores easily. A little expensive to purchase initially but worth every penny. During the winter we use it at home to quickly clean up in the kitchen rather than getting the full size Dyson out of the closet.

We installed a Dirt Devil central vac system. Very pleased with it up to this point.

X2, just store the hose and the power head in the drawer under the couch. Super good vac. & love the 35' hose.

Have a central vacuum system in the trailer. Use our Kirby 1 or 2 times a year to fluff the carpet better. We vacuum after every trip, even if it is one night, grass burs. Got to get them out.

Up until now its been a stick vacuum while on trips (dust buster with a handle). Between trips, we'd take out our home vacuum and give it a good once over.
I've got a central vac in my garage here at home waiting to be installed. Just need to get the 'roundtoit' together to do it.

One of the first things I installed in the 8289WS was the Dirt Devil 950LE Central Vacuum.
Installation procedure in post #6 of this thread.

I bought an Oreck upright from Costco on sale and it came bundled with the little handheld canister vac with attachments. I love the upright because it's so light and the rotating brushes do a great job of lifting the nap of the carpet. Only downside is the space it takes up in the under bed storage. The handheld canister vac is nice, too, because it came with a telescoping wand which is useful for getting at the dust in the crevices around the cabinets and is great for a quick touch up of the vinyl flooring.

The central vac is used when traveling and a Dyson is used when we get home.

Envious of the members with a central vac! Maybe someday..
For now we use a Electrolux Ergorapido - it has the advantage of being a multi mode (carpet/hard floor) stick vac with the benefit that the motor/vaccume housing detaches from the handle and can be used as a hand vac

Well since I do not have OC'S money, we just use a shark and store it under the bed...

Don't see me buying new golf carts for birthday presents or leveling systems for a 5er.

Bought a small Dirt Devil to leave in the trailer, then use the Shopvac when we get home.

Central VAC on the Crusader. In our TT(s) the vacuum was open the door and sweep it out the door... LOVE the central vac.
