vents for cupboards?

with winter coming and it getting into the freezing side for a high in the days I am finding my cupboards are freezing in the morning. Have been thinking of putting some small vents in them. anyone have a recommendation? I was thinking of looking for some small square vent covers and just cutting a perfect hole in each cupboard and placing them in for air movement. I need a good sized one under the shower to keep it not frozen under there lol

like so

I have been leaving the drawers and doors open a crack. Seems to help.
