Warranty

What exactly does the warranty cover? My trailer is only 1.5 years old. I just had the exterior trim molding replaced around my entire trailer because it basically cracked and deformed by the hot sun in 3 spots. Dealer said it wasn’t covered by warranty. So I didn’t argue because I needed it repaired as we were getting ready to hit the road.

Contact the manf and ask for some help. Often can get at least a partial refund just for customer satisfaction. May even get a different answer that what dealer gave you.

Unless you own a Dynamax, your warranty ended 6 months ago.
Now if the issue was documented by the dealer or FR, before the 1 year warranty was up, that would be different.
All FR RVs only have a 1 year factory warranty, except Dynamax.

My trim has cracked in several places. Replacement trim is sold in trailer shops and is super easy to replace.
