I'm thinking the OP is confusing the chassis warranty with the coach warranty. FR warranty is 1 yr, Ford chassis warranty is 3yr.

It's my of letting other folks have some insite to as what a dealer(UNSCRUPULOUS) is doing this because as I was told not much to dealer if any will be done so my recourse is to type here on the forum!

One year on the forest River coach, 3 years on the chassis.

As much of a hassle it is to get warranty work done, if it were mine I'd fix it myself....

So here is the latest.

Yes I was incorrect and it is 1 year warranty, my bad. Having said that the extended warranty is covering the heater, no issues.

Here is the step fiasco and certainly not happy but I am moving on. Mike Thompson basically said they can't do anything, again worthless. They would be happy to replace the steps for $1,700. So I spoke to a very nice gent at FR. He informed me my steps were recalled. I called and gave this info to MT, again said nothing can be done. So I then took it upon myself to reach out to Lippert (steps). they admitted the steps were recalled. Because I never received this recall and did not know anything about a recall I kept using my steps until the bolt actually broke (I replaced that one). Now that I had the coach in the steps are at a point that the holes are "ovalled" whatever that means so the recall pieces will most likely not fix the steps completely. I battled with Lippert as my point is the steps were faulty, they knew that. Now they are broken BECAUSE OF THE FAULT and because I did not catch it fast enough they will not do anything for me.

The final offer from them is to buy the steps from them at cost, I did. Now either I will tackle that repair or take it to an indy shop.

How hard are steps to replace?

MT is finishing up on the warranty work and working on my coach for the last time, good riddins'.
