I use Pro-Tec products. They make a wide variety of boat and RV chemicals to protect and keep your rigs looking new. (I don't represent this company. But I've been using their products on my bass boat for ages)

Once a year I'll wash my rig with dawn dish soap to remove any sealants or waxes. Do a complete polish, sealant and wax. The sealant and wax make bug and black streak removal a breeze.

Every couple months I'll give it a wash with Meguiars Gold Class wash and wiped down with Eagle One Wax-As-U-Dry.

Maybe I'm anal, but I like to keep my big purchases looking new. A little time keeping it washed, sealed and waxed means a lot less headaches later.
