water from water tank

need help! I am leaving tomorrow morning for the Nascar races and have for the very first time filled up the on board water supply tank. I can hear the water pump when turned on, however, no water at all not even a drip. I am sure that I am missing a step...please let me know and thanks in advance

Incorrect valve settings, probably. Sometimes people leave open the valve to the line through which antifreeze is sucked for winterizing and the pump only sucks air. Sometimes the water heater winterizing valves are in the wrong position.

If it's your hot water, it will take a few minutes for the hot water tank to fill when you turn on the hot water for the first time.

Important: Make sure your water heater is full before turning on the water heater switch or you can damage the heating element.
