Water in fresh water tank

How long will the fresh water last in the tank? The reason I'm asking is I have another trip planned for the 4th of July and I won't have an easy way to fill the tank up later. I'm currently in a state park here in Nebraska. Do you think it would still be good enough to drink? I'm not too worried about other uses. Thanks for your help

I would not go more than 4 days depending on where the water came from.

If you do decide to keep water in the tank I suggest you fill it to reduce the amount of air as much as possible.

I don't drink the water in the fresh water tank. I carry a couple gallon jugs of distilled water for drinking.

You can add chlorine (bleach) to the water to keep the nasties from growing. Only 1/8 teaspoon per gallon per the CDC.
