Water System During Short Term Storage

I ally got our first fifth wheel and have a question for the "experienced" out there. What do you normally do with your water system during short term storage? I know I should drain all waste and fresh water tanks and water heater as thoroughly as possible and rinse the black, too. Specifically, I'm wondering about:

Should I remove and leave disconnected the water filter and housing?

Should the gate valves to the waste tanks be left open? What about the caps?

Should I leave my water heater drain/anode rod out to allow that to dry completely?

Should I worry about stagnant fresh water I the tank if I ran all faucets with the water pump until the ran out? Maybe fill the tank with a few gallons of fresh water with a tablespoon (or different amount) of bleach?

I want to try maintain the water system as best I can, obviously. And I'm just not sure on the aforementioned. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated!!

Close all the tank drains and after draining the water, park it and don't worry. Now if you expect freezing temps during the time it is parked, then you should winterize it.

I drain my hw heater after each use.
drain fw tank
leave filter canister and filter
drain grey galley and black. Leave gates closed caps on
Every other trip I flush black tank with factory equipt. Unit
I do not drain low points.
Leave a little water in toilet to keep seal moist

I only drain the water heater at the end of the season. I always have three gallons of water in the black water tank except when it is winterized. I always drain the fresh water tank after each trip. I keep drain valves closed except when winterized and then I leave them open including the black tank.

I do the same as already noted.

After the black tank is emptied and flushed, I pour a 6 gal jerry can of water down the toilet along with water softener and laundry detergent. I think it helps kept it cleaner and the sensor working.

Just in case you don't already know it, always keep water in the toilet bowl. You never want to let that rubber ring dry out. When winterizing I always add antifreeze to the toilet bowl.

I assume when you say short term storage you are talking about between camping trips? I drain all the holding tanks. I do not drain the hot water heater.
