WD-40 works great taking anything off paint. Bugs, tar, decal adhesive, etc. Just plan on washing afterwards, leaves oily streaks but washes right off.

I have been using wax that our line crew uses on our acft, I do my 5er 3 times a year once in the spring, in the summer, and at the end of the season, the entire trailer is still beading after 2 months except the cap, it get waxed every few weeks to keep it nice and shiny, i got it in a 5 gal container at a aviation trade show in miami a few years ago. it is about $150.00 a gallon

Think I will use the 303 aerospace for Decals and Gel-Gloss wax and McGuires RV/Boat cleaner wax for every place else. Right now I just can't wait for snow to go so I can get started on all my projects.
