Wax question.

I have purchased a gallon of auto glow wax from our local car wash. I can apply it with my pressure washer. I can turn the nossle to mist so pressure wouldn't damage anything.
The product has 1% of a petroleum ingredient. Ultimately some will get on the roof. Will this damage the rubber roof? Thanks

Stand on ladder and spray downward.

I agree, but some mist will end up along the edge of the roof.

I could do that, but I'm thinking that no matter how I apply it, if it's sprayed on there is a chance of getting some along the edge of the roof. I'm wondering if that will hurt the rubber. 1% isn't very strong, but still.

Use mineral spirits to clean it off, just don't let m/s dry before wiping off......I, wouldn't worry about it myself....as you say, weak solution.

Wax Question

The fact that there is a concern would keep me from using it.

I guess its kind of a wax. I know it wouldn't protect like a hand applied wax but it could be applied more often because of the ease. It would be a little experiment. I just don't know if there should be concern for the roof or not. It doesn't damage rubber on vehicles so would it bother the roof of a rv?
