Way to find when a model is built

We ordered a Windjammer 3029W on February 8th. Is there a way to find out when that model will go on the production line at FR? Want to have an idea when we might get it.

Talk to your dealer, he should know.
Mine called us the morning our unit went on the assembly line.

I understand I can contact our dealer. Thought there might be a way to see the build schedule of FR to see when they are being built.

Talked to my dealer yesterday and they still don't have the VIN for the camper yet. They are going to call FR on Monday to see what is going on. How long after they find out the VIN does it take before it will get to the dealer in MN?

Found out today that it will come off the line May 1st. Dealer thought I will get it by the middle of May. I'm kinda bummed was hoping to get it sooner. I'm like a kid waiting to open presents it is hard to wait.

I went to the plant and watched some of the construction of my 5er. I had requested to see it built when I ordered it and they let me know the day it started being built. I came in from NY to watch various stages of production. Today it came off the line almost done. Also had requested a factory PDI so they could check it out there. Now I have to wait for delivery to dealer, About 2 weeks.

Swannie, Did you see a big advantage in doing the PDI at the factory? Do they let anyone that is having a RV built come and see it being built?

At the factory they have their own people look for problems before they release it to the customer. I found out about this avenue when I was at a FROG rally a couple of years ago and was told to take advantage of it was you order a unit from FR. You have to check with your dealer as to getting a chance to see it built. I was lucky to have that chance.
