They're great grills. I have a Genesis at home and a Q1200 in the trailer. Both are awesome.

Actually, there are times that I wish I had bought the Q2200 for camping.....little bigger.

Need 1/4" to 1/8" NPT coupling
https://www.amazon.com/Parker-Brass-...ng+1%2F8+1%2F4

1/4" Quick connect
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought this hose because the quick connect on the camper was too short for where I like to place the grill.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and you need pipe thread tape that's rated for gas/propane
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You unscrew the bracket the regulator is on and then twist off the regulator. You are left with a 1/8" Male pipe.

Screw the coupler onto that (using the thread tape, of course)
then the quick connect into the coupler.

Plug the quick connect hose onto the quick connect, and the other end into the female quick connect of your camper.

Voilla!

We carry a little package of those drip pans and change it out if we suspect animals are going to be around.

Love our Q2000, have ours "t" off of the main propane tank on RV. We use a small table to set ours on, CW gave it to us when we purchased the grill on the last day of the RV show in 2013. Only paid $99 for the grill and table.

How do you guys like the folding stand, I'm thinking about ordering one.

We've had one for about 10 years now and wouldn't have anything else. Parts, if ever needed are easy to come by and it lasts longer than any other. It has a nice large grilling area too. We always travel with ours..as we are at this moment.

I wish there was a video of this procedure. I'm afraid to tackle this, but I'm just a gal not too well versed on things like this, and I'm a visual type. Right now I take along those little tanks and it's killing me.
I do love my Q though. So much that our big grill is still in winter storage.
