Weighing your 5er

Wondering how exactly you weigh your 5er?
Weigh both truck and 5er and just subtract truck weight and be happy with what you get?
Take the time at a scale to unhook and weigh?

Thanks

Here you go:
Learn To RV: How to Weigh a Fifth Wheel Camper (at CAT Scales)

Summarized:
1) Pull onto the scales with truck + camper, get weighed
2) Park the camper in a truck parking spot or off to the side (remember wheel chocks and optionally- king pin lock)
3) Pull onto the scale with just the truck, get weighed

Then you can do the math- essentially loaded weight minus empty weight gives you pin weight. Or, you can use this mobile-friendly tool:
Actual Weights - Fifth Wheel Weights from CAT Scales - Towing Planner

I know what the truck weighs, so I just weigh the front axle rear axle and then the trailers axle.

Add those three numbers and then subtract the trucks weight.

Or weigh as above, pull of and drop your trailer and reweigh the truck.

In an ideal world, I'd weigh my truck full of gas, loaded down and everyone on board. Then I'd hook 5er, and weigh just the truck. This will give you the tongue weight on the bed. Then weigh everything for a full weight.
