But they said I should have the majority of the weight in front of the axle. I don't want an trailer sway.

Lord I can remember when I was a beekeeper and hauling bees around the countryside with a Ford Courier pickup and it may have weighed 2000lb empty and I would carry 2,000lbs of bee hives on it. I had helper springs on truck, those were good days, the police would leave you alone. I didn't ever get stopped. I couldn't drive to fast, truck would sway. About 60 was as fast as I could go. We do do stupid stuff in life

That probably wouldn't look too bad if he would just raise the ball to set the trailer flat.

So, on the site across from us this weekend was a big toy hauler. A Cyclone CY3800. Max weight 20,000 pin weight 3,485 43' long. Was towing with an F250, 4x4, long bed 4 door.
Nowhere near enough TV!

Wow, the pin weight alone is double the entire weight carrying capacity of my truck. All of a sudden I feel so insufficient.

Unless he is using the rating based upon discussions in this forum about no difference between the a F 350 and a F 250 except licensing. If it was a Chev or dodge I would be more concerned

And he'll probably tow it like that for years- just like thousands of others do- and we'll likely never see a single one of them in an accident. And if we do happen to see one of them in an accident, odds are it will be the fault of the other driver who was texting while driving.
