Weld-A-Flush vs wand- No Comparasion

I've had a GT 378 for just over a year. It was fitted with a Weld-A-Flush in the black tank which I used every trip. I also lost ground over the last year and recently I had 4 lights with the tank M/T. Looking through the open toilet, the tank looked clean. This last trip I emptied the tank ran the flusher until the the tank was nearly full and dumped again with the flusher operating. I managed to clear the top light and remained with three lights on.

When I returned home today I fetched my home made lance and in less than two minutes of flushing the tank the lights were back to one light only as it should be. Pictures attached of the level indicator and the lance. Two minutes of well aimed water is all it took. As to the flusher, its located same end as the toilet. You can see it operating, its quite a flow, however its conical and not jet stream. The jet stream can do over 20 feet, the cone probably only 5 feet. Proofs in the puddin. I'll continue to use both, but not relay only on the Weld a flush.

The wand I built some years ago out of project left overs. I used CPVC 1/2" schedule 120 pipe. With the jet reaction you need someting stong but light. The nozzle cap is drilled for 3/32. Other end fitted with ball valve and pipe to Hose fitting. At full house hold pressure the lance will bend couple of inches and sent water 20 feet with a very powerful jet. When inserted into the drain pipe you can manuver the nozzle by rotating and changing vertical angles. The result speaks for itself.

It doesn't matter what your RV is, if you have holding tanks its a pain to have false alarms.
