Wishing you luck and I would personally do the up grade for the little bit of difference myself.

Just FYI as a DW myself.

DON'T let her go in anything bigger!!!! Bad idea. Starts trouble!!! You know what happens once we start looking!!

PrettyCan't we just get this one instead!!!!!

Done, finally!

The hail saga is over for the time being. Took the DW to the dealer, looked at 4 TT's, and ordered the 25RL. Added the mattress upgrade, oven, skylight, gas/elec DSI water heater, yada. yada. http://www.forestriverinc.com/nd/def...eries=GreyWolf
Get to keep using the 17BH until the new one arrives, then transfer the mods to the new one, and one nit pickin PDI is on the list. And I mean nit-pickin. I may camp in it for a few hours in their shop.
Kind of glad it's done and looking forward to modding the new unit when it gets here. Hope everyone in the midwest is keeping cool.

Well, i need to retract the last post. I thought we were done and was wrong. First time in my life. Anyway, a little more explanation on what changed. When we were on the lot looking at the 25RL we also looked at a few others just for comparison. They had a 2012 Layton Joey 253 with slide out sitting next to the 25RL, fiberglass body, 15" tires, 2 doors, so thought what the ..... I was intrigued. Stepped inside and was quite impressed. Very nice layout, finished out very well, less power options but heavy on workmanship and material. (countertops, etc.) Whoops, wanted way more difference than I wanted to pay. Back to the 25RL and ordered. Couple of days go by and I'm thinking, as is the DW, about the Joey. Honey, I really liked that trailer. Me too dear. I call the dealer, make an offer, he counters, I counter, he accepts. Sorry FR, cancel the order. Is this what they call jumping ship?? Somebody posted don't look at to many units...... That's good and bad. Cost me just a little more money, but I got a really nice built unit, roomy, great floorplan, fiberglass (sorry hail stones), 2 doors, etc. Picking up Thursday so we'll see how it does. A little heavier than the GW, but I have faith in the Hemi Ram. This is worse than buying/trading boats. Started out with a little 06 Keystone 18 and now dragging a 29'. Such is life. Hope I can still visit now and then. I know some of you are on the other forums so I will see you there. Safe travels everyone and let's go camping.

Good luck with your new TT no matter what brand. Keep everyone advised how it works out.

Finally, Finally Done.

Picked up the TT and brought her home Thursday. We got completely stuck on the floorplan and slide. Sort of unique with breakfast bar, etc. We'll get her loaded up and do the trial run next weekend. Love this forum so I'll be checking in now and then. Have to see what Herk is saying about anything.
