Last count I heard was 14 confirmed dead, over 200 injured and many homes destroyed. I am glad that the middle school was not occupied at the time of the explosion.

Knowing the area fairly well, having done a lot of work with what was Chrysler Technologies at the Texas Tech airport near Waco, I'm amazed there wasn't more blast damage over a wider area. it's about as flat as a pool table out there, except for the Brazos river valley.

When Mount St. Helens blew here in Washington State, the shock wave broke windows in houses in Bellingham, nearly 200 miles from the blast.

If there are any former CTAS employees on here who still live in the area who remember me from the Brunei programs, send me a PM on what this incident was like. BTW, I'm on here under my middle name. You guys knew me as Allan Damp.
