We will be remembering the good times of the past trips and planning good times for our future trips.

Well I actually still go down to my camper over the winter months but its not the same. The first thing I have planned and done is to build and install an owl box. I am hoping some owls would cut down on the field mice population! I have looked all over the camper and just can't guess where those little pesky sob's are getting in at. I have covered all the usual vents with wire screen but I still see one or two each time. So maybe an Owl would like some easy pickins'!

Shoveling snow, looking for new campgrounds online, shoveling more snow, booking the summer trips, shoveling the end of the driveway that the plow closed in.

Don't get me wrong, I like the winter, we 4 wheel, snowmobile, ski, Etc... I just love camping!

Well....

I just got a new job and our "Tech Ops" center is 110 miles from the house. There is a heavy chain link fence around the place (mobile MRI labs are stored there) so instead of a five hour commute on the days I need to be there...the boss says bring the camper and park in the yard, free power and water to boot!!

After Christmas we'll spend 8 -10 days on Dauphin Island again around New Years. Hopefully "Ida" didn't tear the place up too bad.

We spent a week at Gulf Shores last January and rode
the ferry to dauphin island for a day trip.
Where to you stay when you go there???

Our camper is winterized and waiting for spring. I had surgery on my foot yesterday so I will be sitting at the computer and making reservations for next summer. Hope to be able to enjoy hiking and playing next summer, didn't get to do much hiking this year.

I went scuba diving in Bonaire last week....spent ~18 hrs. underwater.

Unfortunately, that is the last trip until camping next spring.
