The purple thing is Barney's left leg.
The polka dots is part of one of the worker's dresses. He only wears it on Wednesdays, so hey- it's not a Friday unit.
ps, we need pictures to help.

Closet slide in the bedroom is 12 - 15 inches.

Although this members Sunseeker doesn't have a closet slide, the bed and living room slides are narrow, so you very well could be correct.

Not all slide systems are created equal as are the slides.
A kitchen slide with the residential fridge and say stove/oven would be way heavier and shallower than a slide with a table and some chairs along with a couch.
Heavy slides will stress any slide out system to the point of failure, so the "safety bars are a redundant but seldom used item.
Someone here once suggested that they should be tied together and used Nun chuck style on the dealers sale/service/parts people

They look just like spring-loaded bars we use in pantry to keep items from moving.

How in the world do you get those in there? I have 3 for my windjammer and was adamant about using them on my trip to Florida. After closing the slides and looking at the bars and the room I had to work with I got disgusted and put them in the closet. didn't have any problems luckily.

Being 6' 1" helps a lot.
I rarely use mine, but when I did, I memorized where they went and could basically do it by feel without looking, and placed the end against the RV wall first, then the slide...and turned them to tighten up.

They look to be the bars that you put in front of items on a shelf so when traveling it does not push on the cabinet doors and open it. Keep items on shelves instead of on your floor rolling around.
