We planned several trips this year, Niagra Falls, Branson, Nashville, WV, and close to home. Hopefully we get to do them all since we both work fulltime!! Wish us luck!

Sacramento delta is also a great spot. I think it was the Pirates Cove marina and campground.

Having fun is the name of the game and is seem you have a few fun trips planned.
Thanks Iggy. I'll have to look for pirates cove.

It is not hard at all. The campground is nice and clean and for the location you pay a little morn than normal but it is worth it.

If you use the train I'd suggest the regular car as it is the cheapest especially if you have 3 or 4 people. All cars have AC and the trip is about 1 1/2 hours each way. The RR also offers a bus tour to about 3 or 4 of the look out if you don't want to walk and luch at the rim.
We stayed at the campground 3 days. one day for the RR trip the second day we drove in ourselves and say more lookouts. Breathtaking.

If you drive you have to pay $20 or $25 per vechicle to get into the park then you can drive to most of the lookouts.
If you are a diesabled Vet you can get a free pass to get into the park or over 65 you can buy a pass for a few buck and can be used in any Federal Parks nationwide.

Hope this helps a little. Oh you can buy tickets online and/or call and speak to someone and ask any questions.

I retire (for the third and final time) April 20. We then go to TN for mother's birthday. Then in June to IN for Grandson birthday. Next, in July back to TN for Father's birthday. Next, the first of Aug. back to IN for youngest Grandsons birthday. Next, to MI and northern IN for wives' pacemaker check-up on the 13th, and then Goshen to have Level-up and new axles installed, on the 15th. Next, the first of Sept., back to TN for Sons birthday, then in the last of Sept. back to IN for oldest grandson. We will stay there until Mid Oct for Granddaughters birthday. Finally all the birthdays are over till Feb. Next we are off to Patterson, CA to see sister-in-law, (brother passed last year). Plan on taking the "back roads", US 20 or other routes. Stopping on the way and seeing what looks interesting. We love museum's, old houses, buildings and factories.Planning to have all the fun we can stand.

God bless,

Plan on taking our new LaCrosse 303RKS out in March if weather here in Kansas permits, maybe sooner if trailer comes out of RV shop with a clean bill of health. Having some warranty issues taken care of. Prime Time and dealers being very helpful and are taking care of things.

If we go in March it will most likely be Basswood Resort at Platte City, MO. If April it will be Melvern Outlet Park at Melvern, KS. or maybe Crater of Diamonds in AR. After that nothing etched in stone for other trips long or short yet, but plan on a lot of trips in the new trailer this first year.

Let's all keep talking RVing.

We have a SC coastal trip planned. Maybe do some spring local camping in the Smoky Mountains. Do not know our spring break plans as of yet and do fall camping as catch as catch can. We are planning our first boat trip to the Bahamas in June. We have never crossed in our boat and looking forward to that trip alot!

Decided to start using MH in connection with work... Will be driving it to Nashville, Atlanta, Houston, etc. instead of flying... Will be taking wife and dogs and fishing stuff... It will become my mobile office... (will be able to use it as a tax right off as well)

I just added another trip to San Clemente SB for Labor Day weekend to my list. I didn't think I would get it because Reserve America was so slow. Usually when there is this delay someone else got the selected dates. A lot of people trying to get reserverations for the same month at the same time.

If you remember my list of plans this cg is on it a lot. I just love hook ups and the beach & this cg has paved driveways. I do plan on getting out more to other campgrounds too.

Need to add the RV show in Pomona CA for October to the list. I will be staying at the KOA for 2 nights and can walk to the show from there.

This year will be a bit limited. Our youngest daughter is graduating from college in May. So all of our family is going on a cruise in March to the Bahamas.
Then I found out last Wednesday that I need to have a total knee replacement on my right knee. Surgery will be May 23rd and about 6 weeks rehab so the big summer trips are out. So our plans will probably involve a bit of driveway camping until after August. Since I'll be off during our busiest time of the year I'll have to wait until things slow down.

Sounds good as long as you check to see if I'm home first.
Let me know when and I will save a parking space for you onthe street.
Hopefully you won't be here in July-Aug < During that time your tires melt to the street if they stay staionary for a few hours.

We have plans to go to the Rally in August, down to Mississippi, up to Arkansas then back home to Iowa. Plans to go to Utah in June, and maybe to Oklahoma in July. A few days local camping with the 4 youngest granddaughters ages 4, 5, 5, 6. Other then that nothing else planned as of this time.
