What Can I Do ??

Just one year ago I purchased my Forest River Rockwood 5th wheel. When we took delivery, I noticed and had the dealer replace some of the screw covers around the slides which were cracking apart. I wanted them to replace all but they were selective and only replaced the ones which were actually broken. Today I noticed that all the other screw covers, especially around the roof and above the awning are all craking and breaking apart. I always keep the trailer under a carport which has open sides, front and back for good ventilation, but still keeps it shaded. I think old material must have been used during manufacture. What can I do or how can I have the manufacturer fix?

Well if it's out of warranty your on your own. You can either take it back to the dealer to finish doing what should have been done if the first place and bring it to there attention. Maybe they will cut you aa deal. Later RJD

If you are talking about the long strips of vinyl that cover the screws. I have ran into several 2013's that have had that issue personally I think the manufacturer of the vinyl messed up a it is several makes that have the issues.

The good is the vinyl is not very expensive and is easy to replace. If you do it yourself keep in mind that the vinyl will shrink a little. our 2013 has had it all replaced.

Take pictures and contact Rockwood. See if they'll help you.
