We have Shawdirect Satellite, Where we camp there is no off air tv at all, when Canada went digital they just turned everything rural off more or less. We do have great LTE and 4G data and hotspot if trees are just too bad for news and weather coverage.

I prefer watching TV to eating a sandwich.

lg 55 inch in the living room. furrion 32 inch in the bedroom and outside. winegard traveler for direct tv on the roof, direct tv genie with dvr on the lg tv and then two mini genie wireless remotes on the furrions. generally use park cable for local news if available. use direct tv other times. (when granddaughter is with us she knows exactly how to tune it to Disney channel. I could live without that channel!). rare to even try to use over the air tv. when we have good direct tv signals we turn on the dvr and record many shows to it. when we are under trees and do not have direct tv, the dvr can keep us going with recorded stuff.
