We have Shawdirect Satellite, Where we camp there is no off air tv at all, when Canada went digital they just turned everything rural off more or less. We do have great LTE and 4G data and hotspot if trees are just too bad for news and weather coverage.

I prefer watching TV to eating a sandwich.

lg 55 inch in the living room. furrion 32 inch in the bedroom and outside. winegard traveler for direct tv on the roof, direct tv genie with dvr on the lg tv and then two mini genie wireless remotes on the furrions. generally use park cable for local news if available. use direct tv other times. (when granddaughter is with us she knows exactly how to tune it to Disney channel. I could live without that channel!). rare to even try to use over the air tv. when we have good direct tv signals we turn on the dvr and record many shows to it. when we are under trees and do not have direct tv, the dvr can keep us going with recorded stuff.

Why not just call DirecTv and change your service address for this? It takes less than five minutes -- I do it all of the time -- probably less time than swapping cables around to view the cable news.

Axess TVD 1801-22

22 inch with built in DVD player. Runs on 12 volts so we don't need to use the inverter which is good for us as we mainly boondock. Use over the air or DVD. We have had it one year and so far so good. We spend about 5 months a year in our 19' fifth wheel.

It's a 12 volt TV, so he would be talking about not having to use the inverter when he is boondocking.

We have a 20" used for news and weather. Maybe some oldies on RetroTV on rainy days. We can't get much bigger where the TV mount is anyway. It's no big deal to us.

I have an Olevia and it is about 26-28 inches (wasn't about to pull the manual out to find out). Olevia, I have never heard of it before but probable made by the same people who make the Concertone RV stereos to which ours crapped out and has been on back order since Jun 2015, but that is a story for a different thread. Our TV has probably been on 10 times in six years. As I am the cook, I mostly listen to our XM through the Concertone or the occassional CD. Watching TV is only when weather is the pits and it is done via the roof attenae. We have never been to a CG that had cable.
