What do you miss most?

When you hit the road for a trip, what do you miss most on the road that you usually have at home?

For us it used to be very simple. Ice! Gotta have ice in our cold drinks and we never had it with our old rig. Now with the Georgetown we have an ice maker in the freezer.

Now that we have ice, it's our morning lattes that we miss. Gotta make due with good ole' coffee. Not enough room to carry an espresso machine.

Ol, man, hate I had to read that !!! Stong black coffee through a peculator for me. But per the doctors orders, it has to be decaffeinated.

i guess the ice is a important thing but we always bring lots of ice. the coffee thing is the wife's love she brings her machine with us and she will not miss a cup.. i guess what i miss the most is the ease of owning a dog at home is easier than at the campground. here we have a 6ft fenced in backyard so it is easy to get the dog to do her business but at the campground it is a bit of a production..

We seem to have deer just about anywhere we camp around here, sometimes elk too.

The not being able to sleep thing cracks me up though. I sent my mom some chocolate covered espresso beans for X-mas one year. She didn't know what they were and sat munching on them all evening. Yeah, don't think she slept for a couple of days after that.

I'm not sure if there's anything, got a coffee maker, ice machine, Select Comfort Matress, TV and usually enough food and drinks for a small army. The only difference is at home my 1500 gallon septic tank gets dumped every 3 years and I don't have to do it, otherwise we usually have all the bases covered.
I know, I miss the sound of me cutting grass every weekend, yeah that's it NOT!!!!

My Bosch Tassimo covers my latte and coffee fix, but I do miss the ice maker. Don't have one of those yet! Also miss the washer and dryer when out for more than a week.

Hard to think of anything I really miss while camping, but on the flipside, when I have to go home, I miss everything about camping, and I LOVE the percolated coffee, in lieu of expresso, I add a few shots of Bailey's... YUM

Oh, yeah, Bailey's, I'll second that! Something about percolated coffee I have noticed. It just tastes better in the great outdoors at a great campsite.

I miss the bigger shower and having more than six gallons of hot water.....but that small sacrifice is worth the fun of camping.
