7 MPG on short trips when I just want to get there. 10 -11 if I just take my time and keep the speed at 60-65.

what fuel consumption do you get

2012 Chevrolet 3500 dually pulling 41 ft Cedar Creek I will get 10.5 to 10.8 mpg if I keep it below 70.

Avg 8mpg with the big 8.1L gasser. That was towing my TT between 70-75mph. I have a feeling it may be a little less with the new fiver. The 36qbok I have on order is 42' and 12-13k dry vs. 36' and 8k with the TT. I'm sure my mph will be closer to 65 and am hoping the mpg averages about the same. Time will tell...

Running down Texas interstate, loaded weight 20000, my F250 V10 gets between 7.8 to 8.4 gallons per mile. Sorry, I meant miles per gallon.

2011 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD pulling a 36 ft Carriage Cameo weighing in around 15,500.

At 55 I can get almost 11 mpg with a tailwind.
At 65 Drops to 10 mpg

Heading into ANY kind of a breeze or headwind it drops to 9 ish or lower.....

2007 Dodge dually, 2 wd, 6.7 L - 6 speed auto. Run in 5th gear with tow/haul on and exhaust brake on for the down hill side. Pulling Cedar Creek 36RD5S, scaled at 16,684. On flat, like Kansas, Illinois, Indiana 14.4 to 14.8. Tennessee Hills 13.2 to 13.8. New Mexico/Colorado rocky's, 13.6 to 13.8. All without heavy headwinds. Came today from Evansville, IN to Altamont, TN, 11.6, had 25 mph headwind, with 35 mph gusts. Not the most pleasant drive, but mileage not bad in it.

God bless,

Got a new silverado 1500, 5.3 (?) 6 spd 3:42 - not yet at 1000 miles and get just under 15mpg in daily commuting.
I'll be taking my cargo trailer for a pull on friday, about 75 miles so this will be my first trial to see how it goes. Never watched the mileage on the expy with the cargo trailer (expy did 12.5 in 'everyday' driving).

Won't be pulling the camper for another 2 months yet. The expy got 9 to 10 and I'm hoping for better from the silverado. It certainly feels tons more powerful but then it has 236k fewer miles on it.
