Question What fuel consumption do you get?

As a matter of interest, what are you all towing, with what truck - and what is your fuel consumption?

We tow a Wildwood T25KS with an F150 and get 25 per 100kms. (Seems pretty dreadful to me.....) What about you?

(Ooops - just edited to say this is Canadian consumption.... will have to work out what that is for American fuel economy )

Is that liters/100 kms? If it is that's 8.5 mpg. That's about what I'm getting with an 07 Ford Expedition (3.73 gears) and a Prime Time Tracer 3000BHS.

That makes it 9.4 mpg

My mpg will change depending on how fast I'm traveling, terrain and sometimes what kind of gas I get.

It feels that way sometimes. Seems like it takes longer to fill up than it does to run it dry.

We recently returned from over 2000 miles towing through Colorado and New Mexico, over many high mountain passes. Our towing average was 11.8 mpg.

Sandpiper 285RL, towed by a 2000 Ford-F350 7.3 Powerstroke SRW 4X4 35" tires, only taken on trip long enough to worry about calculating 1800 miles / 160ish gallons of diesel used showed about 10.5-11 MPG's

Mountain towing I get 10-12 mpg. Prairie towing 12-14 mpg. If its windy, anywhere between 10-14. I have 6.0 L diesel. Try to keep speed between 60-65.

Usally somewhere between 8-10 mpg unless i have a headwind. Then i just stay connected to a gasoline tanker truck and he follows me around so i dont have to stop.
