Question What GPS

I'm trying to make up my mind as to what make GPS I should buy. I am considering the Garmin RV760LMT, Magellan Roadmate RV916ST-LM and the Rand McNally RVND 7710 or 7720.

What are your recommendations and why?

Thank you
PHILIPHD

In my very limited experience- Garmins have just been "better". Of course, that's not really a "why".

I have a Garmin in my truck...it's let me down more than I want to admit...for awhile now, I use my Goole Maps app on my Samsung Galaxy 4 which has voice activated directions...actually operates A LOT better than the Garmin...at the end of be day, it's a toss up on what is truly the best device!

Good Luck...and keep an old fashion map book in the truck

We have a Garmin nuvi 2460LMT and it messes up occasionally, but all in all, it performs very well. We also keep an atlas handy jic.

LOVE my new Garmin RV760LMT. The only feature I wish it had was "Garmin Lock" that my other GPS has.

I always fear having it stolen and all my friends and relatives addresses are stored in there.

Herk.........

If your friends and family are anything like you, don't worry about anyone messing with that information. You are more than enough to deal with.

True enough, but disposal is always a problem.

I'll jump on the Garmin bandwagon also;have had 3 and now own the RV760LMT. Have never had a hiccup with any of them. I have seen other manufacturer's models, but did not like the interfaces. Garmin units (to me) are more intuitive
