Propane Dealer in Lebanon,Ohio 10$ Tuesdays for 20# tanks and 15$ Thursdays for 30# Tanks! They place the tanks on a Platform Scale!I don't think they are Amish but 1 guy does have a Beard!  Youroo!!

What Have You Been Paying for Propane?
I'm averaging $2.87 per gallon purchased from a variety of vendors including RV Parks, Service Stations, Propane dealers and UHaul.

Tractor Supply here in Lebanon, TN is running around $3 a gallon which seems high but lower than an exchange price.

those with privileges on military bases should check availability. propane fills are quite reasonable. they often have campgrounds on base, which tend to be quite reasonable too.

Wow, interesting thread. I just filled up a dead empty cylinder at Costco in Calgary, Alberta, Canada this morning. $10.09 CDN translates to $7.83 USD for a fill. ... that's just over 4 US gallons. I paid 68.00 to fill a slap empty 85# tank on my mom in laws motor home last week. Sevice station in central Arkansas. Felt ripped off when I left.

Hollywood, FL, flat rate of $19 to fill your 20lb tank at Liberty Gas.
Morrisville, PA flat rate of $20 to fill your 20lb tank at Shell on W. Trenton Ave.
We have also found at least a few Home Depot stores with machines that will exchange a 20lb tank for about $17. The machines are automated, accept credit cards, and run at night, even when the store is closed.

The address is in Kinzers, PA, but it is really in New Holland/White Horse. The price just went up this week from 35 cents per pound to 40 cents per pound, so $12.00 to fill an empty 30# tank and $8.00 for an empty 20# tank. You only pay for what you get, so if your 30# tank still has 4# in it, you will only pay for 26#. They don’t rip you off like most others by charging you a flat rate for the tank size. Also, there is no tax added to those prices.

You probably know, but in case you don’t: all of the tank exchanges (all of them) for the 20# tanks only give you 14# to 15# of propane in their “full” tanks. It’s the industry standard. However, if I ran out of propane and really needed it, it would be convenient to have available a 24/7/365 automated exchange service, and I would use it, but I would cringe at the same time.

I just filled an empty 30 lb tank and it was $15 and change taxes included Canadian at Costco

I paid $11 for 20 lbs. That is $11 CAD or $8.00 USD at Costco. I have 2 30 lb and 2 20 lb that need filling once I get home from camping this week.

just got my monthly bill form out propane utility. we have piped propane to the house, no natural gas. they are running a special through june 15. $1.50/gal for a 20 lb fill up.

Just filled at local BJ's. Paid $10.50 for 20lb and saw the price for a 30# was $16.50. This BJ's sold gas and refilled tanks not exchange.
