What in the world is this device?

While doing some mods on my 2306 I find this electrical object screwed to the back wall inside the rear storage compartment and in the area where the water heater is. It has a large red wire going into it and 4 smaller wires, red, blue, black, yellow also going into it, or out of it. Can't get my head or the camera in there far enough to see where the wires go but it doesn't appear to be connected to the water heater, but can't be sure.

Tracking device?
Klingon cloaking device? (how do I turn it on and will it help me get better mileage?)

That reddish orange wire by itself coming out the side looks like spark ignition wire. I think it's a direct spark ignition module myself that lights off the propane for your water heater

Direct spark ignition for your water heater. when you turn the gas switch for the hot water it provides the spark to ignite gas. if you open the access panel on your water heater you will see the other end of the red wire

Thanks, that must be it. I ruled it out since it had the 4 smaller wires which didn't appear to carry enough power for much of anything. Thanks all for such amazing quick response. Just like Jimmy Johns, freaky fast.

EDIT, just found it in a video about suburban RV water heaters. (notice I didn't say Hot Water Heater. Should please Old Coot. )

Bummer. I was kind of hoping it was a Klingon cloaking device.

I agree Widogmom. This one would have been much smaller than the one Kirk and Spock stole for the Enterprise.
