What is best way to store RV when not in use?

I am a new RV owner. When I have the RV parked at home (between uses) I leave the slides out and the AC power plugged in. I also leave the refrigerator on.

Looking for the pro's and con's of leaving the RV closed up, power off with refrigerator off and open, to prevent mildew versus what I am doing.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.........

From May - Oct we keep ours plugged in, refer on (there's usually food in it), and slide out. Can't see taking everything out of fridge only to have to put it back in in a week or so when we go again, then again we're going every 2-3 weekends all summer long. If you're a constant camper all summer there's nothing wrong with what you're going. There are no moving parts in the fridge to wear out leavging it on all summer.

I have always for the last 25 years left my TT plugged in to shore power when it is at home. Fridge stays on as well from April to October. I check the batteries every month to make sure levels are good.

I would suggest cracking a couple of vents to allow air circulation.

Plugged in, slides closed unless I am working out there, refer off and doors open. Dehumidifier on during the winter months

We leave the slides out but depending on how long it will set we sometimes disconnect shore power and unplug the battery. We do use it quite often in the yard when it gets real hot so it is not unplugged very often.

Thanks for the advice......I have two friends who do exactly the opposite. One keeps his RV ready for travel, slides in and no shore power. The other keeps his slides out, shore power connected. He had problems with his refrigerator and once it was repaired, the service department recomended leaving the refrigerator on as much as possible. I guess I followed the second.
